Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and STRN Labs ("we") for using the Pantrinho app and this website. By using Pantrinho you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

1. The service

Pantrinho lets you record the food you have at home, see what expires first, get reminders, share a pantry and shopping list with other people, and use optional Pro features. We may improve, change or remove features over time.

2. Food safety

Expiry dates, reminders, barcode data and recipe ideas are there to help, not to replace your judgment. Always check the label, the smell and the look of food, follow the manufacturer's instructions and food safety guidance, and consider allergies and dietary needs. Product data comes from Open Food Facts, an open database that may contain mistakes. Recipe ideas are generated by an AI model and may be incomplete or wrong. We are not responsible for decisions about what to eat or throw away.

3. Your account

• You can use Pantrinho as a guest. Guest data lives on one account tied to your phone; if you uninstall the app without linking Google or an email, it may be lost.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your account and for what happens with it.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Pantrinho.

4. Sharing a space

• When you invite people to a space, they can see and change its items and shopping list, and see who did what.
• Only invite people you trust. The owner of a space can remove members; anyone can leave.
• If the owner leaves or deletes their account, the space passes to another member.

5. Your content

The items, lists and names you add are yours. You give us permission to store, process and show them to you and to the members of your spaces, only to provide Pantrinho. Don't add content that is illegal, offensive or that you don't have the right to share.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Pantrinho: no attempts to access other people's data, to break or overload the service, to reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or to use it to send spam or abuse.

7. Pantrinho Pro

• Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) bought and billed through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app and on Google Play in your currency, including taxes where applicable.
• The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription.
• The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Contact us if something went wrong and we'll help.
• A subscription unlocks Pro in the spaces you own, for all their members. If it ends, your data stays: items above the free limit remain visible, but you can't add new ones until you're under the limit again.
• We may change prices for future periods; Google Play will tell you before a change applies to you.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Pantrinho and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk, telling you when we can.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Pantrinho available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update these terms; if a change is meaningful we'll tell you in the app before it applies. Continuing to use Pantrinho after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Pantrinho is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we don't guarantee it will be error-free or always available, and we are not liable for indirect damages, lost food or lost savings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country that cannot be waived.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
